Publications:

DJ TAXI KABIR (2017), EP 1 Driver, 1001 Passengers; Label: RecordJet, where he combines ancient Mediterranean, African Amazigh-tunes and tribal music from all over the world with his own musical ideas restructured and defragmented by including natural percussive beats, sampled recordings of tribal chants and instruments as well as his own compositions and interesting ranges of digitally created sounds and textures.

Abdou Ezzari is currently exploring the origins of natural trance music of African, Maghreb and Mediterranean people, tribes and dancing /celebration traditions- back to the roots. The artist’s main intention to realize this project is to widen the concept of trance music and its temporal reception by creating trance patterns in a complex and unique way to build the brigde between past and present. The artist is a collector of great varieties of ancient trance rhythms all over the world and his music is inspired by original recordings of those as well as of native percussion samples and other digital elements that are set in unique offbeat-arrangements, creating a wide range of unique and diverse trance-beats and and sounds.

Abdou Ezzari’s E-Oud project ORIENT EXIT (2012) with his own compositions of Electric Oud and remakes of traditional moroccan tunes  is a very dense and intense impression of both, electronic and natural sounds consisting of traditional tribal rhythms by afro- and oriental percussion sounds, electronic atmospheres and Oud-tunes which are set in a completely new musical context with Ezzari’s very personal handwriting.  His electric Oud which he manufactured himself produces a wide range of sounds- from carefully arranged oriental melodies to wild, alienated and distorted riffs.  This exciting Live-Performance will not only be a pleasure for the ears of North African music fans, but also those of Rock-, Blues- and Electronic music.

Abdou Ezzari also provides Workshops of handling the music production Software:
