Schon fr\u00fch kam er in Kontakt mit marokkanischen Rhythmen,\u00a0 traditionellen Ges\u00e4ngen und der Oud, einer orientalischer Laute. Auch \u00fcbten Blues, Rock und Jazz der Siebzigerjahre und sodann die Anf\u00e4nge der elektronischen Musik in den 80ern eine starke Faszination auf ihn aus. In seiner Musik bewegt sich der K\u00fcnstler virtuos zwischen verschiedenen afrikanischen, orientalischen und westlichen Stilrichtungen. Nachdem er mehrere Jahre in Frankreich Gitarrist und S\u00e4nger in verschiedenen Blues- und Rockbands war zog er 1995 nach Deutschland K\u00f6ln, und begann sich f\u00fcr die M\u00f6glichkeiten elektronischer Musik zu begeistern, um seine Musik auf einzigartige Weise mit exotischen Elektro-Beats, Fl\u00e4chen und fremdartig klingenden Ger\u00e4uschkulissen zu bereichern. Nat\u00fcrliche und virtuelle Kl\u00e4nge wurden mit Abdou Ezzaris ganz pers\u00f6nlicher musikalischer Handschrift in einen komplett neuen Kontext gesetzt.<\/p>\n<p>Neben den Live-Performances mit dem E-Oud Projekt ORIENT EXIT und DJ TAXI KABIR ist <strong>Abdou Ezzari Produzent<\/strong> von Musik f\u00fcr Filme und Videos, zuletzt f\u00fcr einen Beitrag der RSE Maroc &amp; Maghreb f\u00fcr den Klimagipfel in Marrakech.<\/p>\n<p>Als <strong>DJ TAXI KABIR<\/strong>\u00a0<b>(EP: 1 Driver 1001 passengers, Label: Recordjet, 2017)<\/b>begeistert Abdou Ezzari sein Publikum mit einer Mischung afrikanischer, mediterraner und orientalischer Einfl\u00fcsse sowie eigener elektronischer Sounds und Beats, in die er typische Trance- und Tribal Rhythmen sowie traditionelle Kl\u00e4nge und Ges\u00e4nge in seine elektronischen Sets integriert und somit eine einem jungen, internationalen Publikum zug\u00e4nglich macht.<\/p>\n<p>Aktuell besch\u00e4ftigt sich der K\u00fcnstler mit der Suche nach den Wurzeln der Tanz- und Trancemusik maghribischer, afrikanischer, mediterraner und orientalischer V\u00f6lker- back to the roots und den Urspr\u00fcngen elektronischer Musik und zieht seine Inspiration f\u00fcr neue Tracks daraus, an denen er arbeitet.<\/p>\n<p>Sein Oud- Projekt<strong> ORIENT EXIT<\/strong>\u00a0 mit eigenen Kompositionen und einem Remake eines traditionell marokkanischen St\u00fccks ist ein spannendes Zusammenspiel elektronischer Klangwelten und Beats\u00a0 mit\u00a0 pulsierenden live gespielten Afro- und Oriental- Percussioninstrumenten sowie der von ihm selbstgebauten E-Oud, deren Kl\u00e4nge von zarten orientalisch klingenden Arrangements bis hin zu wilden, verzerrten und au\u00dferirdisch anmutenden Riffs in den verschiedenen St\u00fccken zu h\u00f6ren sind. Neben Fans nordafrikanischer Musik zieht diese au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliche Live-Performance sowohl Elektronikfans als auch Anh\u00e4nger von Blues und Rock\u00a0 in ihren Bann.<\/p>\n<p>Abdou Ezzari bietet auch Workshops mit der Musiksoftware Ableton Live und weiterer Software wie VST oder Reaktor an.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8212; English version &#8212;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abdou Ezzari, multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ,<\/strong> was born in Morocco in 1965. Growing up in Meknes within a family of musicians, he got in contact with traditional Moroccan rhythms, tunes and with the Oud (oriental lute) at an early stage. He\u2019s also been strongly influenced by Blues, Rock of the 70&#8217;s and the Sound of Electronic Music of the early 80&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>After living in France for several years where he participated in Rock-and Blues Bands as guitar player and singer, he\u2019s been living in Germany since 1995, where he first got the chance to experiment with electronic sound-design and the incredible possibilities of enriching his musical ideas. He has been participating in different Jazz- Electronic- and Rock-Groups as Oud-player, percussionist and singer.During the last years he has been producing his own compositions, and has created the Project TAXI KABIR. lately he&#8217;s working on his new EP OFF THE ORBIT.<\/p>\n<p>Publications:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0DJ<\/strong> <strong>TAXI KABIR (2017), EP 1 Driver, 1001 Passengers; Label: RecordJet<\/strong>, where he combines ancient Mediterranean, African Amazigh-tunes and tribal music from all over the world with his own musical ideas restructured and defragmented by including natural percussive beats, sampled recordings of tribal chants and instruments as well as his own compositions and interesting ranges of digitally created sounds and textures.<\/p>\n<p>Abdou Ezzari is currently exploring the origins of natural trance music of African, Maghreb and Mediterranean people, tribes and dancing \/celebration traditions- back to the roots. The artist&#8217;s main intention to realize this project is to widen the concept of trance music and its temporal reception by creating trance patterns in a complex and unique way to build the brigde between past and present. The artist is a collector of great varieties of ancient trance rhythms all over the world and his music is inspired by original recordings of those as well as of native percussion samples and other digital elements that are set in unique offbeat-arrangements, creating a wide range of unique and diverse trance-beats and and sounds.<\/p>\n<p>Abdou Ezzari&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>E-Oud<\/strong> project <strong>ORIENT EXIT<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>(2012)<\/strong> with his own compositions of Electric Oud and remakes of traditional moroccan tunes \u00a0is a very dense and intense impression of both, electronic and natural sounds consisting of traditional tribal rhythms by afro- and oriental percussion sounds, electronic atmospheres and Oud-tunes which are set in a completely new musical context with Ezzari\u2019s very personal handwriting.\u00a0 His electric Oud which he manufactured himself produces a wide range of sounds- from carefully arranged oriental melodies to wild, alienated and distorted riffs.\u00a0 This exciting Live-Performance will not only be a pleasure for the ears of North African music fans, but also those of Rock-, Blues- and Electronic music.<\/p>\n<p>Abdou Ezzari also provides <strong>Workshops<\/strong> of handling the <strong>music production<\/strong> Software:<br \/>\nAbleton Live<br \/>\nOmnisphere<br \/>\nReaktor<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8212; scroll down for english version &#8212; Abdou\u00a0Ezzari,\u00a0Multi-Instrumentalist, Produzent und DJ \u00a0ist 1965 in Meknes, Marokko, als Mitglied einer Musikerfamilie geboren.
